Conch Republic Divers has a long history
and has evolved into a state of the art facility focused on Scuba Diving. In its current premier location was "Floridays" dive center for many years, while "Conch Republic Divers" was located across the street. In the mid nineties the Two merged into one, bringing you the best of both!
Conch Republic Divers is a full service dive shop.
We're located on the Docks at Tavernier Creek Marina along with the Boat Rentals, Chris' Bait and Tackle.
We strive to provide friendly service at a competitive price. Although our interest may be on your safety, our promise to you is that we make your experience with us the most memorable and pleasurable in the Diving Community.

We want you to relax and enjoy your stay here and we have found additional ways to make you more comfortable
with on-site gear storage and drying racks so you don't have to transport wet gear during your stay, hot showers,
e-mail services, free internet, ice machine, shaded picnic area for between dives, and much more.

Our Shop is located six feet from our boats (we wouldn't dare allow our customers to carry tanks!) Our Rental department is equipped with the latest new DiveRite "Wreck Pac" BCD's, "RG-2010" regulators, Gauge sets, "Nitec Plus" air/nitrox computers, and "Luxfer" tanks. We also have available steel 100cf tanks with DIN connectors

We set the example with our "state of the art" air handling facility.
We are proud of our fill station, and Oxygen clean environment, but most importantly, we are proud of the quality of air we provide to you! So much so that we post our quarterly air quality reports in the fill room.

Air samples are submitted to an independent laboratory every 90 days for testing. Our air is remarkably above standard breathing air. Because we use compressed air for blending Nitrox in an Oxygen clean environment, we filter 6 times. As a result our air quality exceeds the standard for Oxygen compatible air by 8 times (ANDI standards) and far exceeds the quality standards for breathing air.

Our Service department can take care of any gear problems that may arise.
Our Technician is factory authorized and certified in most brands including Atomic, Sherwood, Dive Rite and Genesis, and we stock parts for many other brands. As well, our full service Dive shop can provide any last minute or forgotten items ranging from A to Z. We hope you will visit with us and truly find out what we mean by "the Friendliest Dive shop in the Keys".

The "Republic Diver" is our 46' Newton Coast Guard certified vessel. Her size makes for a smooth ride in almost any sea condition and her twin engines provides for a quick trip to the dive site. For your comfort and safety, we provide many additional features like ice water, shower, camera storage and rinse bins, marine toilet, and ice chests. Our crews are trained and current in Oxygen administration, emergency first aid, and CPR. The "AquaticDiver" is our 30 foot Coast Guard certified vessel. For those who want to "blaze their own trail" the "AquaticDiver" is the perfect escape to explore some of the uncharted pristine reefs or to accommodate unique profiles that are more manageable with smaller groups. We provide all of the same amenities as the Republic Diver including all of the safety features. The "AquaticDiver" is available for half or full day charters. Diving Boat "AquaticDiver"

Brenda is our fearless leader and keeps the shop running like a fine tuned machine.

Captain Gary is a USCG Master Captain, SDI IT Staff Instructor, PADI, and SSI Master Dive Instructor, Full Cave Diver, Evolution CCR diver, and is an SSI Platinum Pro 5000 receipent. Gary is a Florida native with over 40 years of diving experience.

Capt Gary owns Conch Republic Divers along with his wife, Admiral Brenda. When not at the dive shop you can also see Capt Gary on his TV series Treasure Divers or on Ship Sinkers on National Geographics which are now playing worldwide.

He also created Scubaocity, WeTalkDiving.com, and DiveRadar.com.

Clint is a PADI and SSI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and is also a USCG Master Captain. His skills in and around the shop, not to mention in the water, ensure everything is running smoothly and you are assured a great dive.

Clint also enjoys tech diving, spear fishing, and just plain having fun. He comes to us from MI where the water is way too cold for any of us to dive. He is a great addition and asset to the Conch Team. If you want to know how its done, just ask Clint.

Jasen is a PADI Master Instructor and is a highly skilled dive master. When Jasen is on the boat you can be assured you will get the best service available anywhere in the Keys. Jasen comes to us after working over 12 years in the dive business in the Upper Keys. His professional attitude and diving skills makes him a good pick when getting certified or just having him along as a guide.
